Old Grenache bush vines, remnants of days gone by, still survive in some of the older vineyards around McLaren Vale. Weather beaten and gnarled, these dignified old veterans produce extremely low yields of concentrated earthy essences. Hand harvested these vines are very low yielding and produce a rare and unique wine that is a true expression of their age, nature, and environment. The Chapel Hill Bush Vine Grenache was matured in French oak hogsheads for 15 months. One of the gems of McLaren Vale.
