"The 2005 Shiraz “The Sack” includes 5% Grenache. Purple-colored, it delivers an enticing nose of cedar, spice box, pencil lead, blueberry, and blackberry. Made in a forward style, the wine has excellent depth and concentration, plenty of spicy black fruits, and a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next 10-12 years."

“The 2004 Shiraz The Sack exhibits a deep ruby/purple color as well as pure creme de cassis, blackberry, smoke, mint, and earth characteristics. Full-bodied as well as supple-textured, it is ideal for drinking over the next 5-7 years.” |

"There are more than two good reasons to buy this full flavored Barossa Shiraz. Mature vines have given us super-ripe and flavorsome grapes. The old traditions of open fermenters and careful use of oak have produced a well endowed yet balanced red. Enjoy the engorging fruits, black cherry and plum with spice and some creamy oak. This wine stays long in the mouth... Enjoy this big Barossa red in its youth, or cellar carefully and drink over the next five to seven years. A true sack full of pleasure." |
